InvestiAMOsociale: the competition that rewards the Third Sector returns.

InvestiAMOsociale, the competition that rewards the Third Sector, returns for its third edition.

InvestiAMOsociale, the capacity-building competition for high social impact projects, returns for its third edition, born from the shared commitment of Fondazione Perugia and UniCredit, in collaboration with Fondazione Italiana Accenture ETS and involving the partners Human Foundation, Confcooperative Umbria, Legacoop Umbria, Cesvol Umbria, with the scientific support of AICCON Research Center.

The initiative aims to promote social entrepreneurship and support the development of innovative and economically sustainable projects, favoring the well-being of the territory and the socio-labor inclusion of the most vulnerable groups. Third Sector entities, social cooperatives, and capital companies, as long as they are duly registered as social enterprises and have their legal or operational headquarters within the operational area of Fondazione Perugia (municipalities listed in the competition rules), are eligible to participate. Each participant may submit only one project.

The competition rules are available on the Fondazione Perugia website. The call for participation will remain open from July 26 to November 26, 2024, on the same website and on the platform https://investiamosociale.apply-idea360.com/, provided by Fondazione Italiana Accenture ETS. After the evaluation and selection phase, the award ceremony and presentation of the winners, a maximum of four projects, will take place on March 12, 2025. The jury will be composed of representatives from the promoters and partners.

Each winner will receive a maximum grant of 30,000 euros, before any taxes required by law, provided by Fondazione Perugia. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to access a UniCredit loan at a 0% interest rate, up to 110,000 euros, which may be associated with a 5,000-euro “Pay for success” grant, contingent upon achieving the social objectives of the awarded project. Finally, Fondazione Italiana Accenture will award an additional 5,000 euros to the most innovative project. Specific training and support activities for participating entities are also planned.

“The competition has now reached its third edition, and it is a happy certainty for us, having already effectively supported numerous social projects,” said Alcide Casini, President of Fondazione Perugia. “The incentive-based approach brings several benefits: it stimulates creativity and innovation, motivates operators and organizations, helps find innovative solutions, and encourages cooperation activities. Furthermore, it raises awareness in the community about values such as sustainability, social inclusion, and environmental justice. The financial contributions and credit activities provide crucial resources to deserving projects, enabling them to be born, grow, and have a greater impact for the benefit of all.”

“The support for InvestiAMOsociale,” emphasized Andrea Burchi, Regional Manager Centro Nord UniCredit, “reflects our commitment to promoting innovation and growth in the Third Sector. We recognize the importance of social enterprises in creating value for the community, generating positive effects such as employment and social inclusion. Through this competition, we aim to provide the necessary resources and support for the development of projects that can contribute concretely to building a more equitable and sustainable society. The synergy with Fondazione Perugia and all the important national and local partners that make this initiative possible allows us to expand our impact and foster positive change in the territory, implementing a strategy for the economic and social growth of the area.”

“The contribution as Digital Partner to InvestiAMOsociale,” said Simona Torre, General Director of Fondazione Italiana Accenture ETS, “confirms the importance of bringing digital culture to the Third Sector, even through tools like our idea360 platform, which hosts the competition and makes it an opportunity to enhance ‘collective intelligence’, maximizing its efficiency, transparency, and security aspects. Additionally, Fondazione Italiana Accenture ETS is once again proud to reward the social enterprise that best interprets the role of technology in the service of social innovation, in line with a crucial aspect of its mission as a Corporate Foundation.”
