Fondazione Italiana Accenture ETS and Fondazione Vodafone: in September, ReadyForIT will restart, the training program to acquire digital skills.

Fondazione Italiana Accenture ETS and Fondazione Vodafone renew their commitment to support young people who are not studying or working (NEET) in acquiring the digital skills needed for the workforce with the ReadyForIT project.

Thanks to this initiative, young people aged 18 to 34 who are not engaged in study or work paths will have free access to training programs and will earn the skills and certifications necessary to become professionals in IT Support and Cybersecurity.

After launching ReadyforIT+ in July 2023, a project selected among the winners of the Onlife call promoted by the Digital Republic Fund, which involved more than 500 young people over 12 months, the two Foundations have decided to continue the project. For this edition, the program will offer free four-month training courses, provided by Academy Rapido, starting in September 2024. These courses will include, among other things, the achievement of three Cisco Academy certificates, coaching on soft skills, and preparation for job interviews.

To complete and certify the training program, participants will need to finish all levels of the free LV8 app, the learning game developed by Fondazione Vodafone. The goal is to engage young people in digital learning paths through the experience of a video game, enabling them to acquire basic digital knowledge, certified with an Open Badge.
