Graduation day & Employability - ReadyForIT Refugees

On September 12, 2024, at Accenture Assago, certificates for the “IT Support and Cybersecurity Specialist” program were awarded to 29 students from ReadyForIT | Refugees who successfully completed the training. The program, which lasted four months, included official Cisco Academy courses provided by Academy Rapido.

This event also offered the students the opportunity to meet with companies and employment agencies. In the second part of the day, students participated in one-on-one meetings, laying the foundation for future job placements. The afternoon interviews were conducted by Accenture, Adecco, Alascom, Avanade, E-work, Experis, Generali, Gi Group, Oliver James Professionals, Orienta, Pirelli, and Randstad.

The event featured testimonials from:

  • Monica Molteni, DE&I Project Manager at Consorzio Communitas;
  • Stefania Grea, General Director of the Human Age Institute ETS Foundation;
  • Heidi Ceffa, General Director of the Welfare Ambrosiano Foundation, all of whom actively contributed to the 2024 edition of ReadyForIT | Refugees;
  • Safia Poya and Mohamad Rafi Haidary, students from the 2023 edition of ReadyForIT | Refugees who are now employed;
  • Alessia Giglio, Talent Acquisition at EY;
  • Milena Barra, Trainer & Coach at Asystel;
  • Moderated by Elena Atzeni, Integration Associate at UNHCR Italy.
