The eighth edition of "Welfare, che Impresa!" is now underway!
- Inclusive welfare and the fight against inequalities
- Health and care
- Cultural welfare
- Urban regeneration and the valorization of inner areas
- Combatting poverty (energy, educational, and food poverty)
- Fair and inclusive environmental transition
In a historical period of great uncertainty and complexity, where absolute poverty and inequality are steadily increasing with negative effects on the country’s economy, welfare represents a form of social investment, favored by the active role of economically sustainable organizations that, through their diverse organizational and identity models, produce goods and services of collective interest focused on social impact.
“Welfare, che Impresa!” was created to support the transition to inclusive models capable of addressing the needs of communities and combating disparities and inequalities. The purpose of the program is to promote innovative, economically sustainable welfare projects, stimulate social, youth, and female entrepreneurship, encourage networking and multistakeholder initiatives, and foster projects aimed at generating social impact.
The Call is open to legal entities with an innovative and social vocation, established for no more than 5 years or those required to be established within 6 months of the announcement of the winners. Applications will be accepted from April 3 to May 21.
A jury composed of all the Foundations, Organizations, and Incubators partnering with the project will evaluate the proposals using the digital platform idea360, developed by Fondazione Italiana Accenture ETS. The projects will be assessed based on specific criteria that consider the social impact of the project, the ability to promote employment for young people and disadvantaged categories, technological and digital dimensions, scalability and replicability, economic-financial sustainability, and the composition of the project team.
In September, up to four winners will be announced, each receiving a grant of €20,000 in non-repayable funds.
All winning projects will also have access to personalized individual mentorship provided by partner incubators and to a loan at preferential terms provided by Intesa Sanpaolo of up to €50,000 (*) as well as a bank account with preferential terms for 36 months, including a debit card with no monthly fee.
